Dr. Kristy Correia

I grew up in Beaumont, TX. I went to University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX for undergrad where I played soccer and got a degree in biology with a minor in psychology. I then attended University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, KS where I got my Doctorate in physical therapy. Directly after school I got a job near Kansas city, MO at a place called Blue Ridge Physical Therapy. I worked there for about 2 years where I saw a variety of orthopedic, vestibular and neurological patients. I ended up moving back to Texas and specifically to Corpus Christi to be closer to my sister and the rest of my family.

I am a physical therapist and I work to help people recover from injuries, illnesses and surgeries so they can return to there highest level of function and achieve their goals. In addition, as a Certified Vestibular Rehab Therapist I specialize in working with patients that suffer from dizziness and/or balance impairments.

I like to spend time with my 2 dogs, family and friends. I grew up playing soccer, softball and tennis and I love to play sports or go on outdoor adventures whenever I get the chance.
