Dr. Brett Baus
Physical Therapist
PT, DPT
I grew up in Edinburg, TX, about two hours south of Corpus, where I got my bachelor’s of exercise science at UTRGV. I then attended DPT school at the University of Texas Tech Health Science Center, where I lived in Midland, TX. After graduating, I moved down with my wife to settle in Corpus to be close to family and friends.
This is my first experience as a physical therapist since graduating PT school; however, I have had a year of training in the clinic under four different licensed therapists during my program. This has allowed me to become efficient in my skills in treating and helping patients.
Major values that drive me are my faith and family.

Oftentimes patients come in with confusion about why they are hurting and what is going on physically to cause their symptoms. I want to be able to help educate patients on the conditions that they are dealing with so they can learn how to manage/eliminate their symptoms and return to life as normal.
I enjoy getting to know patients and helping to find ways to allow them to feel better. I also enjoy the welcoming environment that is established between all members of staff. Everyone does a great job to make every patient feel like they belong.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, working out, playing video games, and working on my home/yard.
