PT, DPT

I grew up in Three Rivers, Texas. I completed my undergraduate degree at University of the Incarnate Word in 2023, where I earned my Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. I recently graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

I recently earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hawaii Pacific University after completing my Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy at University of the Incarnate Word. Throughout my education, I gained experience working with patients through clinical rotations, where I developed skills in patient care, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, communication, and creating individualized treatment plans. My experiences have helped me build a strong foundation in providing compassionate, evidence-based care and working closely with patients to help them achieve their goals.

Some of the values that drive me are compassion, integrity, hard work, and personal growth. I value building genuine relationships with others, being someone people can depend on, and always giving my best effort. I’m also passionate about helping others and making a positive impact through physical therapy while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

At Avila Physical Therapy, I work in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, where I help patients recover from injuries, reduce pain, improve mobility, and return to the activities that are meaningful to them. What I love most about this setting is the opportunity to build relationships with patients and support them throughout their recovery journey. I enjoy creating individualized treatment plans that not only help patients physically, but also encourage and motivate them along the way. Being able to help someone regain their confidence and quality of life is one of the most rewarding parts of being a physical therapist to me.

I want patients to feel genuinely cared for and supported throughout their recovery, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Many patients come into therapy frustrated, discouraged, or afraid they may never get back to the activities they love. I want to help change that by creating an environment where they feel heard, encouraged, and confident in themselves again. To me, being a physical therapist goes beyond treating an injury; it’s about building relationships, supporting patients through difficult moments, and helping them improve their overall quality of life.

What I enjoy most about working at Avila Physical Therapy is the positive and supportive environment, as well as the genuine care the team has for their patients. I appreciate being surrounded by people who are passionate about helping others and creating meaningful relationships with patients. I also love that the clinic focuses on individualized care and encourages both personal and professional growth, which makes it a great environment to continue learning and becoming the best physical therapist I can be.
